So I decided I was bored of this blog and I was getting to far behind so I made a new blog... to get there go to shelbiesawfulbeautifullife.blogspot.com I already got everything ready on it so it's ready for some viewers... so go there now!:)

It's been a while....

So I've been meaning to do some posts for a long time but I never actually got around to it. So I'll just say everything (or mostly everything) that has happened since Shayla was born.:) Shayla was born in January so I'll start with February. Oh, by the way, happy b-day Melissa!

February: ♥Happy Valentine's Day♥ Happy birthday to Matt! (I bet there were other things that happened but I don't quite remember)

March: Happy Saint Patrick's Day! Happy birthday Linsey!:)

April: Happy Easter! And Sarah just told me Easter was on her b-day so happy birthday Sarah! Happy b-day Mom!

May: Charlotte Hope Merrill was born. Yippee! Another niece!:) (By the way, Charlotte is Matt and Linsey's baby, if you didn't know that already) (Pics will be coming) School ended :( but at the same time :).

June: I don't remember anything that happened. Not a good thing 'cause that's supposed to happen to old people:)

July: Happy 4th! 3 trips in a row... so much fun but I was definitely happy to be home:)

August: Nothin' much except for hangin' out with friends and school shopping. (I got some cute clothes, don't worry) School starts in 4 days:( but at the same time I'm excited for the socializing:)

I think that's it for now but I will definitely post some pics when I get the chance. I'll even do some with the straight and curly hair:) Oh and by the way, I think this was in May sometime, I can't remember, but Tanner and Jenn got engaged! The wedding is on September 4th and don't forget to come:)

Shayla Marie Snow...

I have some exciting news!! My sister Melissa had her baby girl on January 23, 2010, at 7:02 PM. And you can obviously tell from the title that her full name is Shayla Marie Snow. She was 6lb 14oz and measured to be 191/4 in. She has tons of dark brown hair. Here are some pictures from the hospital..

I didn't get to be there since the age limit was thirteen. It sucked! On the bright side though, Melissa and Shayla get out of the hospital today so I'll get to see them late tonight. I'm so excited! Taylor didn't get to see her either since he went to the Suns basketball game. I wish I would've been able to go to the game since I didn't get to see the baby at the hospital. I'll post more pics after I get to see her...

Straight Hair or Curly Hair.......

Well, on Friday, December 18, 2009, I straightened my hair! I actually really enjoyed it and I don't think it looked that bad. Anyhew, I will eventually put up pictures of me with curly hair and then me with straight hair. Then you guys will tell me if you think I looked better with straight hair or curly hair. Anyway, I just thought I would tell y'all about that so you can look for it on my blog. Like I said earlier I'll have to load the pictures up on the computer though, so it might be a little while.

Phantom of the Opera

Last night, November 6, 2009, I got to see the Phantom of the Opera play at Gammage (the same place I saw Wicked) I went with Matt, Linsey, Tanner, Jenn (Tanner's girlfriend), my mom, and my dad. It was soooooooooooo fun!!!!! The play was amazing!!!!!! The sets they had were amazing too!!! The play resembles the movie sooo much!! I loved the play!!! I recommend the play and the movie to anyone who hasn't seen them yet!! :)

Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince

On Tuesday, July 14th I went to the midnight showing of Harry Potter #6. I went with Linsey (my sister-in-law) and her two friends. We went to the Harkins theater in San Tan village (out in Queen Creek). We got there around 8:00 P.M. Some people had been there since really early that morning. They opened up all of the theaters. It was crazy!! Linsey had got us tickets 4 days early. But she first called an IMAX near her house. They were all sold out! And four days early too! Then she called Harkins and they had only a few left. Linsey even made cupcakes for the occasion!! They were cute and delicious!! She made them and then took the icing and made the faces of Harry Potter, Ron Weasley (?), and Hermione Granger! They looked a lot like the real characters!! Harry even had the lightning scar!! They were adorable!! Anyway, the movie was good over all but I read the book right before so I noticed all the things that they changed, left out, or added.

Note: DO NOT READ THE BOOK RIGHT BEFORE THE MOVIE!!!!!

But I enjoyed the movie and I had fun! It was really good the way that they did it but I wish they would've stuck to the book more. Don't get me wrong... I STILL LOVED IT!!!!!

St. Thomas

In St. Thomas we went to Coral World (it's kind of like Sea World, but not as good), shopping, the beach, and snuba diving. It's not snorkeling or scuba diving. It might be a mixture of the two. I don't know.

Have you ever felt a stingray before? I have! They are sooo slimy!!! It's gross!! I remember getting slime or something to that extent in my nails!! Oh, I just got the chills!!

Wicked

Last night (July 8) I saw the play Wicked. It was REALLY good! I loved it! It was REALLY funny too! It's just if you go and expect a lot then you won't like it as much as you thought you would. I didn't know exactly what to expect so I liked it a lot. It's the same with movies and stuff. I saw it at ASU's Gammage (or whatever you want to call it).

Puerto Rico

I really have no idea what Matt, Tanner, and Melissa were doing. Maybe they were having some type of napkin fight or something? I don't know. Anyway, we had dinner before we got to Puerto Rico. There were like 4 or 5 different dining rooms. Ours was called the Paris Dining Room. We ate our dinner there everyday. They had great food!!! It was delicious!!

This room is FULL of TVs. It was crazy!!! In the middle of the room there is one BIG TV! It was soo cool! The ceiling even had TVs!!





This is kind of like the theater place. Different things went on there. For example, like magic shows, comedy shows, game shows, bingo (that happened every night), and stuff like that.

My mom, dad, and I slept, went to the bathroom, relaxed, and stuff like that in this motel room. Our room had a door and then like a small deck just outside of the door. It was nice to have. Melissa, Matt, Taylor, and Tanner all slept in a different room together. Next time I'll do pictures of Puerto Rico.
